Robert "Bob" Homer Beal

Robert “Bob” Homer Beal, 90, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Friday, December 9, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
Born on August 31, 1932, in Meyersdale, PA, he was the son of the late Simon and Catherine (Koontz) Beal. He was married to his beloved wife Barbara for 66 years.

Bob was a Metal Finisher for General Motors and served in the United States Army.

Surviving are his wife Barbara Virginia (Owings) Beal; children, Debbie Peyok and husband Darrell of Westminster, Sherry Swartzwelder and husband Les of Red Lion, PA, Robert “Terry” Beal and wife Cheryl of Westminster, and John Beal and wife Coleen of Taneytown; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 10 – 11 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private at a later date.
