Nicholas Anthony Smith, age 28 of Westminster died Tuesday, March 11, 2008. in Littlestown, PA. He was born October 6, 1979 in Montgomery County, Maryland the son of Donald R. Smith of Mt. Airy and Linda D. Carter Smith of Shrewsberry, PA. He was the husband of Susanah B. Fisher Smith. He was a 1998 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School. He attended First Baptist Church of Gettysburg, PA. He worked as a fabricator and laborer for Marada Industries.. He loved carpentry, coloring and spending time with his sons. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed ESPN and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played football and baseball.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by sons, Bradley N. Smith, Nathan R. Smith and Ryan A. Smith all of Westminster; sisters, Jessica D. Kinnamon and husband Brett of Taneytown and Heather M. Wilson and husband Tim of Mt. Airy; paternal grandmother, Alberta R. Smith of Mt. Airy; cousins, Barbie & Jared Hamby of Westminster; companion and daughter, Sarah Clark and Emma Clark-Monn of Gettysburg, PA.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Roy E. Smith in June 2007.
A funeral service will be held Saturday 1:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Rev. Carl Harris and Elder Mark Keller officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
The family will receive friends Saturday 9:00 am until time of service at the funeral home.
