Jack S. Wagerman, Sr. age 75 of Emmitsburg, died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at Golden Living Nursing Home in Gettysburg, PA. He was born September 7, 1932 in Emmitsburg the son of the late George and Alice Ohler Wagerman. He was the husband of Theresa Portner Wagerman.
In addition to his wife he is survived by sons, Jack S. Wagerman, Jr. and companion, Sherry Nolan of Emmitsburg and Shay E. Wagerman I and wife Melissa of Littlestown, PA; grandchildren, Amber, Shay II, Caleb, Samuel and Zebulon Wagerman, siblings, Helen Strayer, Patricia Groft, Ann Moser, James, Kenneth and George, Jr. Wagerman.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul Street, Emmitsburg with Rev. Stephen P. Trzcieski, C.M. as celebrant. Interment in Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main Street, Emmitsburg. A wake service will be held at 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family to help with final expenses.
