Zeth Robert Smith

Zeth Robert Smith, age 29, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, in Frederick, MD. Born August 31, 1993, in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of Terry and Belinda (Wagerman) Smith.

Zeth was a man of faith who touched so many lives in his short life. His love for those closest to him was fierce. He was the most selfless person you could ever meet. He was always ready and willing to help anyone at a moment’s notice. Zeth had many passions including cars, computers, music, gaming, spending time with his family and friends and snuggling with his family's cats.

Surviving are his parents, Terry and Belinda Smith of Fairfield, PA; his maternal grandmother, Ruth Wagerman; aunt, Brenda Topper of Fairfield, PA; aunt, Bonnie Seltzer and husband, Tom of Chincoteague, VA; uncle Jeremy (Jay) Wagerman of Taneytown, MD, aunt, Dawn Wagerman of Taneytown, MD; aunt Brenda Myers and husband Steve of Fairfield, PA; uncle, Mike Smith and wife Patty of Taneytown, MD; aunt Bonnie Gastley and husband Earl of Frederick, MD; uncle Gary Smith and wife Deb of Middleburg, MD; and numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Kenneth Wagerman, paternal grandmother, Violet Smith; paternal grandfather, Richard Smith, uncle, William “Billy” Wagerman; cousin, Sean Wagerman; cousin, Larry Gastley.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 210 W. Main Street, Emmitsburg, MD 21727. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2023, 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Justin Perrow officiating. Burial will follow at Emmitsburg Memorial Cemetery.
