Zachary Dane Smith, age 30, of Palm Coast, Florida, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 2, 2013 while traveling in Las Vegas, Nevada.
He was the son of Peter Joseph Smith of Emmitsburg, MD and Bonnie Carol (Gore) Boehm of Palm Coast, Florida. He was the step-son of Hans Boehm of Florida.
Zach was the owner of Express Vault, an Internet cloud storage and scanning company. He enjoyed traveling and was planning to build a home in Costa Rica.
Surviving in addition to his parents are maternal grandfather and grandmother, Richard and Francis Gore of Emmitsburg; maternal grandmother, Cassie Andrew of Emmitsburg; brothers, Christopher, Nicholas, and Nathan Smith all of Palm Coast, FL.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 210 W. Main Street, Emmitsburg. MD
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 47 DePaul Street, Emmitsburg, MD with Rev. Stephen Trzecieski, C.M. as celebrant.
