Zachary Matthew Olwine, age 21, of Westminster, Maryland, died on Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at his home.
Born October 3, 1992 in Eldersburg, he was the son of John Edward Olwine of New Windsor and Patricia M. (Metzbower) Redmer of Manchester.
Zak worked for I.E.S. Contracting, Lowe’s, and most recently Bowman’s. He enjoyed skateboarding, music, playing drums and Urban Exploration. He was an avid photographer and writer.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandfather, George R. Olwine of Arbutus; step-father, Bruce Redmer of Manchester; sister, Jenny Rice and husband Mike of Glen Burnie; brother, Jeff Olwine and wife Kim of New Windsor; nieces and nephews, Ava and Matthew Olwine, Ashley and Alyson Baummer, Brandon and Nichole Rice, also many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by paternal grandmother, Ruth Olwine and maternal grandparents, Janet and Harry Metzbower.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 from 6 p.m. until the time of a memorial service at 8 p.m. at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with Celebrant John C. Morrill officiating. Interment will be private.
