William "Bill" A. Shamer

William "Bill" A. Shamer, 64, of Finksburg, died on 03 February 2024. Born on 30 June 1959, he was son of the late Robert "Gene" and Eileen Shamer. He is survived by beloved wife, Janice Shamer, children; Kathleen Croasmun and husband Aaron, and Josh Shamer and wife Trish, adored grandchildren; Kayla, Alex, Cooper, Tiara, Joey, Clayton, and Tyler, sisters; Sharon Shamer, and Denise Shamer, and many nieces and nephews.

Bill enjoyed bowling, fishing, hunting, and planting and caring for his vegetable garden. He loved nature and animals, especially his beloved cats, chickens, bird, and squirrels. He will be fondly remembered joking with friends. He was an avid Orioles and Ravens fan. He was always ready to help and generous, providing tree service and removal to those in need. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Family and friends will remember him in a memorial service on 16 February 2024, at 2 pm, with Pastor David Meador officiating, at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., 91 Willis St., Westminster, MD 21157.
