William M. “Billy” Myer, Jr., age 59, of Hanover, PA died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Transitions Health Care Center in Gettysburg, PA. Born November 27, 1952 in Milford, DE, he was the son of the late William M. & Lillian E. Williams Myer, Sr.
He was a trainer and driver of Standardbred harness horses. He enjoyed horses, shooting pool, and spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are sister, Lillian Shepard of Milford, DE, and brother, James F. “Frank” Myer of Hanover, PA. He was predeceased by brother, David Myer. Arrangements are private. Memorial contributions may be made to the Standardbred Retirement Foundation, 108F Old York Rd., Hamilton, NJ, 08620.
