William Mckinley Hamm, Jr.

William McKinley Hamm, Jr., age 82, of Hampstead, died on Tuesday, July 30, 2024. Born June 10, 1942 in Radford, VA, he was the son of the late William McKinley Hamm, Sr. and Pearl Mae (Campbell). He spent the last 32 years with “His Lady” Margaret Anderson.

William was an entrepreneur of many construction businesses. He was very patriotic and followed politics closely. William was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He cherished his time with Margie and all his family. His proudest achievement in life was his three girls. He was a loving and devoted father and patriarch.

Surviving are his daughters, Teresa Kozak and husband Dean of Hampstead, Tammy Miller and husband Mark of Hampstead, and Christine Hamm-McAllister of Mississippi; grandchildren, Elizabeth, James, Denise, Daniel, Jessica, Raymond, Megan A., Rachel, Vincent, Megan C., Karli, Victoria, Anthony, and Conner; 18 great-grandchildren; brother Thomas Hamm; and “His Lady”, Margaret Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents William Sr. and Pearl; sister, Stella Marie Lane; brother, Bobby G. Hamm; infant brother Larry Hamm; and son-in-law Douglas McAllister.
