William Balant, age 84, of Westminster, MD, died on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born September 22, 1925 in Monessen, PA, he was the son of the late Steve and Susan (Trochcza) Balant. He was predeceased by his wife, Carolyn (Hammond) Balant.
Surviving are daughters, Susan French Balant of Arlington, VA and Lynne Ann Balant of Westminster, MD; sister, Anne Warholik of Belle Vernon, PA; and special friend, Pam Holmes of Westminster.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Services and inurnment in Arlington National Cemetery will be private.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
