Wanda Mae Hardy, age 63 of Westminster, died Tuesday September 28, 2010 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was born May 2, 1947 in Front Royal, VA the daughter of the late Glenn and Una (Woodford) Jones. She was the wife of Frank W. Hardy, her husband of 32 years. She was an elementary school teacher and taught in Maryland, Delaware and Texas.
She was a member of the Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church. She especially enjoyed flowers and gardening.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Heather and Steve Severance of Valentine, Neb.; sister, Iris McBee of Frederick; also survived by grandson, Kevin Severance.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 3, 2010 at 5:30 p.m.
at Westminster Seventh-day Adventist Church, 320 Crest Lane, Westminster, with Pastor F. Stephen Wall officiating. Inurnment will take place in Virginia at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
