Vivian Arlene Seipp, nee Hollinger, 89, of Westminster passed away peacefully, Monday, July 26, 2021, at her home. A lifelong resident of Carroll County and was living at Sunrise Assisted Living Center in Westminster. Born on August 6th, 1931 in Union Mills, she was the daughter of the late E. Stewart Hollinger and Gertrude Hollinger, nee Sterner.
She was a lifelong member of St. Mary's United Church of Christ in Silver Run. Vivian graduated Westminster High School where she met her husband the late Robert "Bob" Seipp whom she married and was the devoted wife for 68 years. Prior to their marriage, she worked at the G. C. Murphy Five & Dime in Westminster and then becoming a caring homemaker and mother to her family, and then later in life, she worked for fifteen years at Random House Inc. in Westminster. After retirement, she enjoyed watching the Orioles and traveling with her husband and friends on countless bus trips around the country. However, she most enjoyed spending time with her family, celebrating holidays, birthdays, and being together for large family dinners.
Surviving are her children, Douglas Seipp and his wife Leslae of Westminster, Trudy Biden and her husband Randy of Conway, SC, and Timothy Seipp and his wife Amy of Pasadena; her grandchildren, Brett Seipp, Ryan Seipp, and fiancée Kathleen Meren, Robert "Bobby" Biden and wife Jen, Beth Custer and her husband Carl, Brian Seipp; her great-grandchildren Kaleb and Macayleigh Biden; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Guy Wolf, Eugene Hollinger, Raymond Hollinger, Marvin Hollinger, and Betty Bitzel.
The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, August 2, 2021, at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster (21157) where the funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 3, 2021, with her pastor the Rev. Sam Chamelin officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Silver Run.
