Vivian Josephine Dohner, age 95 of Westminster died Thursday March 24, 2011 at Carroll Lutheran Village Health Care Center. She was born April 13, 1915 in Long Island, New York the daughter of the late William H. and Catherine Lang Langewisch. She was the wife of the late Abraham S. Dohner who died in 1977.
Before retiring Mrs. Dohner taught Latin, English and Spanish for thirty years in South Carolina, North Carolina and Aberdeen and Annapolis, MD. Surviving her are two step-sons, John A. Dohner and wife Judy of Columbia, MD and Clark Dohner and wife Nancy of California; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sister, Catherine E. Langewisch and grandson, Geoffrey P. Dohner.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 11:00 A.M. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Rev. Donald Burggraf officiating. Interment will follow in Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville, MD.
The family will receive friends Monday 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Carroll Lutheran Village, Krug Chapel, 300 St. Luke’s Circle, Westminster.
