Verna E. (Jones) Caulford

October 21, 1945 — January 31, 2014

Verna E. Caulford, age 68 of Westminster, died peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2014 at Transitions Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Sykesville.
She was born on October 21, 1945 in Baltimore, daughter of the late Vernon Ed Jones and Edna E. (Stricklin) Hyle Jones.  She was the wife of Byron N. Caulford.
She enjoyed watching Soap Operas, Elvis movies, listening to Elvis music, reading books, and working with ceramics.  She traveled throughout the United States and Canada alongside her husband, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Barbara Strevig of Towson, Lynn Daubert of Westminster, Michael Constantine and wife Karen of Westminster, Norma Justice and husband Tony of Westminster and Robert Caulford and wife Angelina of Newport News, VA; grandchildren, Britney, Shannon, Amanda, Brianna, Kevin, Autumn, Joey, Nicole, Matt, Michael, Trenton, Courtney, Bella, and Abby; great-grandchildren, Liberty, Ava, McKenzie, Steven, Braelyn, and Paige; former spouse and lifelong friend, Frank Constantine.
She was predeceased by brothers, Kenneth, Bill, and Bobby Hyle, and numerous family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with Pastor Thomas F. Cantville officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. John Leisters Lutheran Cemetery in Westminster.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
