Tyrone "Mushie" Eugene Brown

Tyrone “Mushie” Eugene Brown, 59, of Westminster, Maryland died on Friday, February 22, 2019 at Carroll Hospice Dove House.

Born on December 10, 1959 in Frederick, MD and raised in Union Bridge he was the son of Mildred V. (Warfield) Brown Stambaugh of Gettysburg and the late William Carroll Brown, Sr.  He was the husband of Montia Sharae (Greene) Brown.

Tyrone was a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge and worked as a masonry laborer.  He enjoyed knife collecting, playing pool and dancing.  He was a very loving husband and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are sons, Jymir Ky’Ree Brown of Westminster and Dont’e M. Brown of Union Bridge; daughter, Trinity Brown of Frederick; step-daughter, Crystal L. Smith of Westminster; grandchildren, Phoenix R. Brown of Westminster, La’Niah H. Terrell of Washington, D.C., Tamera S. Smith and Daith M. Smith both of Westminster, and Aaliyah N. Smith of Hampstead; brothers and sisters, Irving B. Brown of Westminster, Kevin A. Brown and wife Hazel L. of Westminster, Mellissa R. Brown of Gettysburg, Don A. Brown of Jessup, Mark B. Brown, Malcome B. Brown and Rita L. Brown all of Westminster; step-father, Lester L. Stambaugh of Gettysburg; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was predeceased by a brother, William C. Brown, Jr. and sister, Trina A. Costley.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7, 2019 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of a Funeral Service at 5:00 p.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster.    Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
