Todd Brent Summers

Todd Brent Summers was a caring husband, father, pop-pop, and friend. He left this world suddenly on April 11, 2022, from an apparent heart attack while on the site of his job.

He was born to Gary Charles Summers and Gail Sydney Walters on January 29, 1965, in Cumberland, Maryland. After graduating from Eleanor Roosevelt High School, he continued in his father’s footsteps as a plumber before transitioning into the white-collar side of the trade as an estimator until he was promoted to Director of Operations at Mitchell Heating.

A resident of Hampstead, MD, Todd was a man of many interests. He enjoyed attending sporting events (Capitals, Orioles, and Bengals), politics, history, telling mainly inappropriate jokes, and spending time with his loved ones and friends. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Kelley, children Ryan, Amanda, Brianna, Tara, Kate and husband Steven, Hayleigh and husband Ricky, Mackenzie, Dakotah, Ashley, and Justin. Todd adored children and leaves behind 11 grandchildren: Lileigh, Carley, Mason, Brooklyn, Ricky, Maddox, Kayden, Kayson, Averie, Theodore, and Braelynn.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to help defray the final expenses may be made to Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, P.A., c/o Todd Brent Summers, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157. Memorial contributions in Todd’s name may also be made to the Wounded Warriors Project and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
