Todd Edward Baker, 53, of Westminster, died Saturday, August 14, 2021 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born April 17, 1968 in Gettysburg, he was the son of Barbara Tackett (companion Jim Crumbacker) of Taneytown and Eddy Baker (wife Kathy) of Manchester.
Todd was a master painter. He was employed by Sheldon and Sons Painting and Baker Custom Painting. He enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling, and going to the beach. He was an avid fan of the Ravens and Orioles. Todd was a hard worker and always had a smile on his face.
Surviving, in addition to his parents, are his son, Dalton Baker and girlfriend Brianna; sisters, Pam Baker of Littlestown, PA, and Kelly Baker and boyfriend Tommy of Manchester; nephew, Dylan; and nieces, Korin and Kenzie. He is also remembered by his girlfriend, Kelly Beacham of Hanover, PA and her daughter Aubrey, or as Todd called her, “Cupcake.” He will also be missed by his Main Road Dog, Symba. Todd was predeceased by his grandparents, Richard Tackett, Catherine and Charles Baker, and Roy and Phyllis Redding.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Grace UCC Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, August 20th at the funeral home.
