Thomas Raymond Pfaff, age 87, of Westminster, died on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born May 25, 1925 in Baltimore, son of the late J. Raymond and Marie T. Rolle Pfaff.
He enjoyed bridge, crossword puzzles, watching the stock market and traveling. He visited over 100 countries with his lifetime partner of 47 years J. Steward Bankert. They spent the winters together in Hawaii from 1980 until Steward’s death in 1998.
He is survived by nephew, Robert F. Knighton and niece, Mary Anna Weisgerber; special friends, Carla Criss, Beth Beamer, Gail Schreiner and Laurie Blatt and numerous great nephews and nieces.
In addition to his partner he was predeceased by his sister, Margaret F. Trenner and brother, Raymond G. Pfaff.
There will be a private memorial service at a later date and his ashes will be scattered in Hawaii.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
