Thomas Andrew Hardman, age 14, of Taneytown, Maryland, died suddenly on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at his home.
Born November 7, 1995 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Gary W. and Katherine I. (Glaser) Hardman of Taneytown.
Thomas was currently in the 9th grade at Francis Scott Key High School in Union Bridge.
Surviving in addition to his parents, are maternal grandmother, Janet Downey and step-grandfather, Robert Downey of Davidsonville; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Constance Hardman of St. Leonard; siblings, Carly Hardman of Stafford, Va., Paul Hardman of Bloomington, Ind., Karen Hardman of Damascus, Md., Joseph Hardman of Westminster, and Elizabeth Hardman of Taneytown.
Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, 2 nephews, and several cousins. He was predeceased by a grandfather, William Glaser.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, on Monday, December 14, 2009 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown, with Deacon Charles E. Barnhart, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel (Baust) UCC Church Cemetery in Tyrone. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
