Thelma Fay H. Shaw, age 97 of Finksburg, died Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Homestead At Sun Valley in Sykesville, MD. She was born September 3, 1911 in Ocean City, New Jersey the daughter of the late George and Myrtle Fay Noel Heick. She was the wife of the late Albert David Shaw who died in 1959. She retired as a mail clerk for the Postal Service.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Thomas D. and Joan R. Shaw of Finksburg; grandsons, Aaron and Jacob Shaw; also survived by her sister-in-law and three nieces.
She was predeceased by siblings, Grace Fierst, Dolores Finley, George and Iva Heick.
A graveside service will be held in Allegheny County Memorial Park, 1600 Duncan Avenue, Allison Park, PA on Wednesday 2:00 pm.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD.
