Thelma D. (Buckingham) Mann

August 27, 1923 — September 19, 2015

Thelma D. Mann, age 92, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, September 19, 2015.
Born on August 27, 1923 in Winfield, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Willie Fenton Buckingham and Carrie (Leatherwood) Buckingham.  She was predeceased by her husband Charles A. Mann in 2008.
Thelma was a homemaker who enjoyed flower gardening, as well as baking and cooking for her family and friends.  She was a member of Benjamin’s Krider’s U.C.C. in Westminster.
Surviving her are sons, Charles R. “Bobby” Mann and wife Mara of Westminster, and Daniel L. Mann and wife Bonnie of Finksburg; grandchildren, Lari Mann, Anita and Jimmy Wagner, Trey and Dawn Keys and Karen Keys, Kim Manning, Mike Bridwell, Shelly and Steve Morse, Mike and Kinley Mann, Elizabeth Mann and Beau Mann; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ruth Buckingham of Winfield; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a son and daughter-in-law, Gerald R. “Jerry” Mann and Mary Mann; 2 great-granddaughters; and was the last of her immediate family predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 6-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St, Westminster, MD.  Burial will follow in Sandy Mount United Methodist Cemetery in Finksburg.
