Thelma Joan Leppo, age 74, of Hanover, Pennsylvania, died on Monday, April 14, 2014 at the Hanover Hall Nursing Home.
She was born on May 21, 1939 in Westminster, Maryland, and was the daughter of the late Robert M. and Anna E. (Hagan) Bosley.
Joan enjoyed playing board games, bingo, needlework, reading, and visiting with her friends. She graduated from Westminster High School and from the first graduation class of The Village Green Nursing Center. She worked in several nursing centers in Pa.
Surviving her are a daughter, Jennifer Leppo of Hanover, PA; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Don King of Westminster; sister-in-law, Evelyn Bosley of Rockville, Md.; 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Bosley.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Krug Chapel Carroll Lutheran Village, 300 St. Luke Circle, Westminster with Rev. Jimmie L. Schwartz officiating. Interment will be private.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
