Terry L. Frock, 75, of Manchester, Maryland and formerly of Westminster, Maryland, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021 after a lengthy illness at Long View Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare.
Born February 3, 1945 in Frederick, Maryland, Terry was the son of the late George M. Frock and Catherine Anna (Wilson) Frock.
Terry graduated from Francis Scott Key High School, Class of 1963, and went on to an over 34 year career with Black and Decker Corporation in Hampstead. Terry was very faithful to his church and was a life-member of the former St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Uniontown. Following the closure of St. Paul’s, Terry went on to become an active and faithful member of St. Benjamin’s Lutheran Church in Westminster. He took great pride in the historic St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Uniontown, where he was a member of the board and mowed and cared for the cemetery grounds for many years. He was a member of the Lutheran Men of the Westminster Conference, serving as Past President, always enjoying the food and fellowship at the bi-annual meals. Terry was an avid Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan, duck pin bowler, history buff, and always enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Surviving Terry are his siblings, Dolores Piggott and husband Fenton of Westminster, Wayne Frock of Littlestown, PA, Ronald Frock of Westminster, and Kathy L. Schaeffer and husband Tim of Manchester; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Uniontown with Rev. David S. Schafer officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
