Sylvia Ann Becker, age 67, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Monday, October 21, 2013 at Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born August 18, 1946 in Augusta, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Roidmond and Pauline (Thayer) Young. She is survived by her husband, John A. Becker.
Sylvia loved gardening and flowers. She had a special regard and love of her pets and animals.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Kevin Peele and wife Kate Hargreaves of Omaha, NE, Jennifer Peele of Augusta, Maine, Karin Sorenson and husband Mark of Ellicott City, MD, and Diane Vermillion and husband Johnny of N.C.; brothers, Tim Young and wife Sherri of FL, and Roddy Young of Maine; grandchildren, Chandler Peele, Cole Edgecomb, and Audrey Sorenson.
Services and interment will be private.
