Susan “Sue” Ann Shaffer, age 54 of Westminster died Monday April 7, 2008 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was born June 13, 1953 in Maryland, the daughter of Margaret Murray
of Rhodesdale, MD and the late Norris Alexander. She was a bus driver for John & Jalna Schaefer and Little People’s Place. She enjoyed woodworking and sewing with plastic canvas and gardening.
She is survived by sons Charles A.L. Shaffer and his wife Angela and Bradley E. Shaffer all of Westminster; brothers, Richard Sullivan of Rhodesdale, MD and Joseph Sullivan and wife Marge of Churchville, MD; also survived by four grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter Heidi I. Shaffer.
A funeral service will be held Friday 8:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with Rev. John Street officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends Friday 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
