Susan Irene Mascaro, age 55, of Sykesville, Maryland, died on Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. She was a gift of life organ donor with the Living Legacy Program of Maryland.
Born March 7, 1957 in Folsom, PA, she was the daughter of Irene E. Starecheski of Sykesville and the late Edward B. Starecheski. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Harry W. “Bill” Mascaro.
She was formerly employed as a regional manager with GNC. Loved by so many, she enjoyed reading, cooking, gardening, and cheering for the Ravens. She loved her pet dog “Molly”.
In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by brothers, Edward, Gary, and James Starecheski; mother and father-in-law, Pat and Harry Mascaro; brother-in-law, Stephen Mascaro; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 3:00 PM until the time of a Memorial Celebration of Life Service at 4:00 PM, at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with Rev. Ann Schlossnagle officiating. Interment will be private.
