Steven Douglas Robertson, age 45, of Taneytown died unexpectedly Monday, May 2, 2011 at his home. He was born February 14, 1966 in Gettysburg, PA. He was the son of Maurice Robertson and the late Jean Stem Wagerman. He was the husband of Julie DeGroft Robertson.
He was a carpenter and worked most recently at Evapco in Taneytown. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working on cars and spending time with his sons and grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife and father are step-mother, Suezann Robertson; sons, Travis and Matthew Wetzel of Taneytown; daughter, Ashley Light of Pennsylvania; mother-in-law, Mary Blum and husband, Roland of Taneytown; brother, Norman Robertson and his wife Wendy of Belleair Bluffs, Florida; step-sister, Elizabeth Howell and husband Vernon of Ft. Belvoir, Virginia; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his father-in-law, James DeGroft.
Services and interment will be private.
