Steven "Livy" Livesay

Steven “Livy” Gregory Livesay, Sr., age 54, of Westminster, Maryland died on Wednsday, June 24, 2009 at the Blue Point Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Baltimore.
Born September 30, 1954 in Gettysburg, PA, he was the son of Nancy Lee (Reid) Livesay of Taneytown, and the late Carl Sumpter Livesay who died in 2006. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Carol Roxann (Muller) Livesay.
Steven was a 1972 graduate of Francis Scott Key High School, and worked for many years as a pump assembler with formerly Dresser Pump, now Flowserve in Taneytown. He loved hunting, camping, and was an avid Indianapolis Colts Football fan.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are children, Steven Gregory Livesay, Jr., and wife Tina of Abbotstown, Pa, and Rebecca Lynn Wright of Spring Grove, Pa., and numerous cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown with the Rev. Samuel Garrett of Gates of Praise Worship Center in Littlestown officiating. Interment will follow in the Keysville Union Cemetery in Keysville. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
