Steven Tyron Hill, 25, of Taneytown, Maryland, died on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at home.
Born December 24, 1992 in Westminster, Maryland, he was the son of Juanita Marie Hill and step-son of Charles Thomas Ware.
He was a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School and enjoyed playing football and basketball. He loved to sing and rap and record his own music.
Surviving in addition to his mother and step-father are maternal grandmother, Harriet Irene Hill of Westminster; paternal grandmother, Barbara Carroll of Union Bridge; brother, Lucas Martin Hill of Taneytown; half-brother, Aaron Carroll of New Windsor; uncles, Carter Thomas of S.C., Richard Hill of Taneytown, Michael Hill of Westminster, Felix Hill of Westminster, Brian Hill of Union Bridge, John Frisby of Westminster; aunt, Dorothy Thornton of Union Bridge; and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Tierra Irene Hill.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 4, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. and on Friday, January 5th from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown with the Rev. Darrell Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Strawbridge United Methodist Cemetery in New Windsor, MD. Following the burial a repass will be held at the New Windsor Fire Hall.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
