Sister Geraldine Coleman, D.C., age 85, of Emmitsburg, Maryland, died peacefully on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Villa Saint Michael in Emmitsburg, Maryland. She was born on September 27, 1927 in Wildwood, New Jersey, daughter of the late John Francis Coleman and Anna Marie (Delaney) Coleman. She was a Daughter of Charity of St. Vincent DePaul and served in various positions in healthcare. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at the Basilica Shrine of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, 333 South Seton Avenue in Emmitsburg, Maryland. The Rev. Stephen Trzecieski, C.M. (Chaplain to the Daughters of Charity) will be the celebrant. Interment will be held on the grounds of St. Joseph Provincial House Cemetery. A Wake Service will be held on Friday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Villa Chapel. Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Emmitsburg, Maryland.
