Shirley Rae Moore, 80, of Westminster, MD, formerly of Terra Haute, IN, passed away peacefully Friday, December 18, 2015 at her son’s home in Westminster. Born February 19, 1935 in Hammond, IN, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Lois (Daggy) Pearson. She was the wife of the late Bob M. Moore, to whom she was married for 52 years. He passed away in 2011.
Shirley was employed by Columbia House Credit Union in Terre Haute, IN for many years. She attended the Carrollton Church of God in Finksburg. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.
Surviving are sons, Bob Mack Moore and wife Suni of Mississippi, and Corwin “Corky” Moore and wife Dara of Westminster; sister, Judith Engerski and husband Jerome of Bradenton, FL; sister-in-law, Marsha Moore of Fort Myers, FL; brother-in-law, Nate Moore of Hartford City, IN; grandchildren, Courtney Moore of Westminster, and Bobby and Nathan Moore of Mississippi; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by grandson, Corey Moore.
Services are private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carrollton Church of God, 1901 Carrollton Rd., Finksburg, MD, 21048. Arrangements have been entrusted to MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME in Westminster.
