Sharon Lee Sinnott

Sharon Lee Sinnott, 62, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at her home.

Born March 18, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Rose (Zeigler) Sinnott.

She was a graduate of Westminster High School and worked for a short time at the Maryland Cup Factory.  She enjoyed playing pool, watching old movies, listening to classic rock music, and playing games especially scrabble.  She loved her pet cat “Chestnut”.

Surviving her are siblings, Betty Reese of Hanover, PA, Mary Garber and husband Richard of Union Bridge, Lorraine Fowble of Westminster, Catherine Wetzel and husband Jim of Union Bridge, Sonny Sinnott and wife Linda of Union Bridge, Richard Sinnott and wife Louise of Arbutus, George Sinnott and wife Cindy of New Windsor, Linda Haines and husband Larry of Taneytown; ½ siblings, Tina Spielman of Westminster, Robert Spielman of New Windsor, Sylvia Riddle of Taneytown, and Kenneth Spielman of Taneytown.  Also surviving are many extended family, friends, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special caregiver, Whitney Cummings.

She was predeceased by Virgina Bainbridge, Helen Gordon, Nancy Spielman, and Rose Wetzel.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 28, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, 91 Willis St., Westminster.  Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.
