Sharon Marie Hann

Sharon Marie Hann, age 59, of Hagerstown, MD passed away unexpectedly on April 25, 2024.

Born October 8, 1964 in Gettysburg, PA and raised in Rocky Ridge, MD she was the daughter of late Sylvester “Wes” Hann and Marie Sanders Ohler.

Sharon was raised working on her family farm in Rocky Ridge, MD. This upbringing led her to cherish animals and nature. Sharon adored a variety of genres of music but her favorite singer/songwriter was Van Morrison. She was an avid reader and loved watching movies with her friends and family - Especially those based on a true story. In October of 2023, she welcomed her first grandchild Frankie and enjoyed spending Sunday afternoons with him. A wild spirit, she left a lasting impression on anyone she ever met.

Surviving are her children; daughter Elizabeth Wold and husband James Weddle; grandson Frankie Weddle; son Daryl Hann and wife Christina Hann; grand-dogs Winston and Oliver; sibling Paul Hann Sr. and his wife Stacy Hann; nephew John Page and wife Shani; niece Ashley Hann; nephews Paul Hann Jr. and Jordan Hann; special friend Kenny Owens.

She was predeceased by her brother Timothy “Timmy” Hann; sister Carol “Susie” Hann and beloved grand-dog Cho.

As per her wishes, she is being cremated and having her ashes spread by her son and daughter. A memorial service for friends and family will be held at a later date
