Sean A. Reese, age 45, of Abbottstown, Pennsylvania died on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at his home.
Born November 17, 1969 in Westminster, Maryland, he was the son of Brenda Lee (Shipley) Reese of Abbottstown, PA and the late William “Doc” Reese, Jr., who died in 2014.
He was a district manager for various retail stores and for GNC in York, PA and Baltimore, MD. He enjoyed listening to pop music and visiting the ocean. He loved all animals, especially his pet chiwawas “Chee Chee” and “Chew Chew”.
Surviving in addition to his mother are siblings, Eric Derr of York, PA, Aaron Derr of Westminster, and Elena Reese of Westminster; 8 nieces and nephews; and 10 grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Douglas Derr in 2011 and Lance Reese in 2008.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St, Westminster, MD., with Celebrant John C. Morrill officiating. Burial will follow in the Harmony Grove Cemetery near Gist, MD. The family will receive friends on Monday from 4-6 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
