Sarah Catherine Stultz, age 99, of Taneytown, died Sunday, November 20, 2011 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born September 26, 1912 in Emmitsburg, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Amos & Mary Glacken Hofe. She was the wife of the late David John Stultz who died 1n 1963.
She worked for more than twenty years at Bosistine Clothing Factory in Taneytown. She was a member of Messiah United Methodist Church and enjoyed going on bus trips, playing bingo and eating out with family & friends.
Surviving are daughter, Doris E. Staley and husband, Curtis, of Taneytown; son, Charles David Stultz and wife Clara of Keymar; daughter-in-law, Ruth Stultz of Littlestown.
Also surviving are 1 granddaughter, 4 grandsons, 3 great-grandsons, and 4 great-granddaughters.
She was pre-deceased by a son, Dean E. Stultz, Sr.
The family will receive friends from 11-1 PM on Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 East Baltimore St., Taneytown, MD. A private graveside service will take place at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Cemetery in Taneytown.
