Sandra Belleson Brown, 65, of Emmitsburg, Maryland died unexpectedly Saturday, March 21, 2015 at her residence. Born January 10, 1950 in Westminster, she was the daughter of Naomi (Arnold) Belleson of Westminster and the late Albert Belleson. She was the wife of the late George E. Brown III, to whom she was married for 23 years. He died December 2, 2003.
Sandra was an Estate Analyst for 15 years with Advest, Inc. in Connecticut. She was very active in the VFW and American Legion, and had a heartfelt concern for prisoners of war and servicemen still listed as missing in action. She loved shopping, playing Bingo, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her mother are son, Scott Chamberland and wife Allison of Canton, OH, daughters, Michelle Davis and husband Jerry of Canton, OH, and Joyce Reyes and husband Jim of Plainville, CT; sister, Patricia Brown and husband Jim of Wyoming; brothers, Wayne Brunk of WV, and Robert Brunk and wife Connie of Taneytown; grandchildren, Renee Brady, Brandon Chamberland-Reyes, and Kenneth Brady; great-granddaughter, Teagan; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and father, she was predeceased by twin sister, Brenda Renfro, and sister, Deborah West.
A gathering to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at 1p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St, Taneytown, MD.
