Ruth W. Bauman Weamer, age 81, of Taneytown (Carroll Vista Community), died peacefully on Sunday, March 8, 2009 at her home.
Born June 4, 1927 in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she is survived by her husband of 60 years, Fred L. Weamer.
Ruth was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Taneytown. She was a devoted and loving homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Surviving in addition to her husband, are 6 children, James, Mary, Ronald, Timothy,Jo Ellen, and Jean Anne; 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two children, twins Joseph and Monica.
A Memorial Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 noon, on Thursday, March 12, 2009 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Altoona with the Reverend Spishak celebrant. A committal ceremony will be held at Calvary Cemetery follwing Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157. Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Taneytown, MD.
