Ruth Lee Seitler, age 72 of Westminster, died Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. She was born April 29, 1935 in Eldersburg, Maryland, daughter of the late Robert M. and Edna M. Woods Lee. She was the wife of Joseph A. Seitler, her husband of 53 years. She was an avid reader and very patriotic. For almost 20 years she wrote a column for the Carroll County Times Neighborhood’s “Of Times Past”.
In addition to her husband she is survived by children, Mark and Beckie Seitler of Westminster, Becky Stauff of Brunswick, Maine, Mary and Jerry Farver, Mike Seitler and Beth Nickelson all of Westminster and Jim Seitler and fiancee’, Lauren Gruner of Woodland Hills, California; grandchildren, Emily, Greg, Sam, Shane, Nick, Jessica, Elizabeth, Shannon and Christopher; also survived by 3 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by siblings, Philip S. Lee and Virginia Davis.
A memorial service will be held Monday 7:00 pm at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster. Friends may call Monday 6:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
Inurnment will be private.
