Ruth Susannah Hahn, age 88, of Westminster passed away on Friday, April 8, 2011.
Born October 16, 1922 in Westminster, Carroll County, Maryland she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Sarah (Diehl) Carr. She was predeceased by her husband Paul Hahn, Sr.
She was a homemaker and avid reader.
Surviving are her children, Alice Eckard, Rose Frebertshauser, Patricia Hossler, and Paul Hahn, Jr., all of Westminster, and Sue Shaffer of Manchester; sister, Pauline Lenker of Harrisburg, PA; brother, H. Scott Carr of Westminster.
Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Beverly Schmidt.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with the Rev. Kristin Dubsky officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
