Ruby Savannah Moore, age 83 of Westminster, died Sunday November 23, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center. She was born May 3, 1925 in Glady, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Sampson and Waldie Bowers Stewart. She was the wife of Harry Alden Moore, her husband of 62 years. She was a member of the Church of the Open Door in Westminster.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by children and spouses, Gary and Karen Moore of Brandywine, MD and Sandra and Dennis Koroll of Huntersville, NC; grandsons, Matthew Shackett of Greenbelt, MD, Gary Moore, Jr. of Bowie, MD, Andrew Moore of Hagerstown, MD and Joseph Moore of Maryland; also 3 great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 3, 2008 11:30 A.M. at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis Street, Westminster with her minister, Pastor John A. Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 3rd 10:00 A.M. until time of service at the funeral home.
