Rose Marie (Thomas) Wagner

Rose Marie Wagner, 88, died on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the BridgingLife Hospice Center (formerly Dove House). Born June 12, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Albert Thomas and Margaret (Sachs) Thomas. She was the loving wife to the late Vernon Eugene Wagner, Sr.

She was a crossing guard for the City of Westminster for 30 years before retiring. She then worked for Carroll County Times during retirement. She enjoyed yard sales and collecting anything with ‘roses’ on it.

Surviving are her children, Vernon Eugene Wagner, Jr. and wife Darla, and Norman Eugene Wagner and wife Donna; grandchildren, Josh Wagner, Desiree Finneran, and Norman Eugene Wagner; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings Myrtle Duffy, Shirley Stewart, Marion Golla, and Connie Hildebrandt. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by son, George Albert Wagner, and 7 siblings.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon on Monday, August 22, 2022, at MYERS-DURBORAW FUNERAL HOME, P.A., 91 Willis Street, Westminster, MD 21157. The interment will be at Lakeview Memorial Park following the visitation.
