Rose Elizabeth (Beall) Reid, age 88, formerly of Taneytown, died Saturday April 4, 2009 in Westland, Michigan. She was the wife of the late Marlin Edward Reid, Jr. She was a member of Newburg United Methodist Church in Livonia and the “Red Hat Society”.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, JoAnne and Michael Shedlock and son and daughter-in-law, David and Maysoon Reid; daughters-in-law Maryann Reid and Claudette Reid; grandchildren, Megan (Bryan) Reid-Blood, Katie, Allie and Gerard Reid.
She was predeceased by sons, Marlin Reid III and Phillip Reid.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday 10:00 AM at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore Street, Taneytown with Rev. David L. Meador officiating. Interment will follow in Grace United Church of Christ Cemetery in Taneytown.
The family will receive friends Wednesday 9:00 AM until time of service at the funeral home.
