Rose Anne Broadwater, age 59, of Taneytown, Maryland, died suddenly on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her home.
Born October 16, 1953 in Cumberland, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Clinton Broadwater and Margaret Abernethy (Dreyer).
She was a licensed cosmetologist an accountant up until the time of her passing. She was a member of the Eldersburg Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Rose completed her Associates Degree in Accounting at Carroll Community College in Westminster; and was pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree at DeVry University. She had a love for gardening, flowers, baking, sewing, and education.
Surviving are daughters, Juliet Flanary of New Windsor, Raechelle Embrey and husband Eric Boger of Fairfield, PA, and Tanya Embrey of Taneytown; grandchildren, Zeke and Owen Flanary and Jayden Page; sisters, Barbara Best of W.Va., Katrina Garry of Woodsboro, and Lesa Crown of S.C.; brother, Michael Broadwater of Mt. Airy; 9 nieces and nephews; and several cousins.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 136 E. Baltimore St., Taneytown. Interment will be private. A Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses, 630 Streaker Road, Sykesville, MD 21784.
