Rosalie Elvira Carosella, age 92, of San Diego, California, died on Monday, October 6, 2008.
Born August 28, 1916 in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Alfred Schepis and Rosalia (Gumina) Schepis. She was the wife of the late, Edward Vincent Carosella who died in 1992.
Rosalie and her husband met at City College of New York and were married in January of 1944. Because of her husband’s career in the US Government and subsequently private industry, Rosalie spent most of her life in Spain and Italy. She moved to San Diego, California in 2001.
Surviving are son, Michael Edward Carosella. and spouse, Mary Ellen Carosella of San Diego, Ca.
She was pre-deceased by a sister, Madeline Faro.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 10, 2008 at St. John Catholic Church in Westminster, with Monsignor Arthur Valenzano as celebrant. Interment will follow in the Westminster Cemetery.
