Ronald Anthony DelBrocco, 69, of Westminster, died peacefully Saturday, September 20, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born June 16, 1945 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Anthony and Freda Morosko DelBrocco. He was the husband of Evelyn Palermo DelBrocco, to whom he was married for 43 years.
Ron was a firefighter and driver assigned to the Fort Meade Fire Station in Odenton for 30 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He enjoyed fishing, carpentry, singing, playing drums, and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children, Tina Fulco and husband David of Bel Air, Sandy Davis and husband Darren of Hanover, PA, and Dominic DelBrocco and partner Nicholas Riippa of Vienna, VA; sisters, Charlotte Symon and husband Lyman of Reisterstown, Rosemary Ayres and husband Ray of Perry Hall, and Toni Guerrasio and husband Tony of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Isabella, Sophia, and Luciano Fulco, and Dylan, Miranda, and Delana Davis; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Barbara Moore.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 p.m. Friday, September 26 at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St, Westminster, MD with the Rev. John Lesnick as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. both Wednesday and Thursday at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St, Westminster, MD.
