Rodney Allen Robinson, age 59, of Westminster, Maryland died on Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born January 4, 1952 in Fairbanks, Alaska son of Carol W. and Emily A. (Michael) Robinson of Westminster.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Ann (Worthen) Robinson.
Rodney was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the U.S. Coast Guard serving during Vietnam and Hatian conflicts. He was retired as a respiratory therapist and was a member of the National Board of Respiratory Care and the American Association of Respiratory Care. He enjoyed camping and traveling and was a member of the Westminster Post #31 of the American Legion.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Carolyn Robinson of Coatesville, PA; sister, Deborah Branda of Delaware; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Janis Worthen of Bel Air, MD; nieces, Lorrie Robinson and Lisa Howard both of Coatesville, PA, Candice and Chyrle Branda of Delaware; nephew, Shawn Branda of VA.
The family will receive friends on Monday, October 10, 2011 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM and on Tuesday from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 AM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, with the Rev. David R. Bare, Carroll Hospice Chaplain officiating. Interment will follow in Bel Air Memorial Gardens in Bel Air, MD.
