Robert Alfred Lee Lehnert, Jr., age 80, of Finksburg, Maryland, died peacefully on Sunday, January 20, 2013 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster.
Born April 9, 1932 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert and Gladys (Lutz) Lehnert, Sr. He was predeceased by his wife Joan Kyper (Burford) Lehnert.
Robert was a master electrician and a member of the Baltimore Local I.B.E.W. Union. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a drill sergeant during the Korean War.
Surviving him are his adopted son and family, Michael E. Swisher and wife Mary of Finksburg; Tom and Ken Swisher; and a sister, Gloria Clarke and husband Roy of Virginia.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster with the Fr. Ronald S. Fisher officiating. Interment will be private.
