Robert Steven Kauffman, age 64, of Westminster, Maryland, died peacefully on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House.
Born September 6, 1950 in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late James and Margaret (Flosser) Kauffman. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Bonnie J. (Bozarth) Kauffman.
Robert was a construction supervisor and estimator for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam. Bob enjoyed target shooting, working with computers, and listening to audio books. He was an avid New York Yankees and Baltimore Ravens fan and loved all animals especially cats.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Steven M. Kauffman and wife Kindra of Blacklick, Ohio, 2 step-sons, Robert L. Allen of Cleveland, OH and Thomas R. Allen and wife Kathrina of Cleveland, OH; step-grandchildren, Zachary, Owen, and Gavin; sister, Nancy Sherman and husband Terry of AZ; niece, Jenna Sherman of AZ. He is also remembered by former wife and life-long friend, Linda Kauffman Moffatt and husband Wayne of Upperco.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jim Kauffman.
Services and burial will be private.
