Robert Louis Gosselin, age 82 of Manchester, died Monday November 9, 2009 at Carroll Hospice Dove House. He was born December 27, 1926 in Washington D.C. the son of the late Joseph and Ella Bertha Ritz Gosselin. He was the husband of Elizabeth M. Gosselin, his wife of 61 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and later in the Naval Reserves. For over 30 years he was a horseman and trainer of horses. He was active in the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church in Clarksville, MD and served as an usher. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five daughters, three sisters, one brother, nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Services and interment will be private in St. Louis Church Cemetery, Clarksville, MD at a later date.
Arrangements are by the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home in Westminster.
