Quick witted, congenial, musician and handyman, Bob died suddenly at home in Truth or Consequences, NM. Born September 20, 1954, he was the son of John and Betty Davis Sr. of Westminster, MD.
Bob was self- employed as a handyman and home remodeler. He held various jobs before becoming self- employed, but his main interest was always music. He was a winsome solo performer with his guitar, and played in several bands, both local and touring, formed around the Rochester, NY area. His sense of humor and sometimes biting political critique will be missed by family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his parents are daughters Elizabeth Roberts and husband Steve of Hamlin, NY; Jessica Davis of Brockport, NY; Brothers John Davis, Jr. and wife Alice of Westminster, MD; Marty Davis and wife Tammy of Brockport, NY; Granddaughters Dasi and Danielle Roberts; Grandson Caleb Roberts; a former spouse Jeanne Wahls of Brockport, NY; companion Susan Doohan of Truth or Consequences, NM and six nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, on Saturday, March 28, 2009 at Clearfield Bible Church. 1303 Old Westminster Pike, Westminster, Md. with Pastor Gary Sheaffer officiating. Private interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery in Westminster. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to assist with final expenses may be sent to the family c/o of Clearfield Bible Church, 1303 Old Westminster Pike, Westminster, MD 21157.
